Additional training days may be required.

Scope of Work:

To assist professionals in supplying individualized instruction to early ed classroom's and small group environments. To facilitate and supplement the educational process under the direction of a professional staff member.

The essential funcutions of this position include

include communication facilitation, carrying out programs designed by the teaching staff, managing behavior, teaching self regulation skills, and supporting and facilitating social engagement with peers. Physical responsibilities include occasional lifting, carrying, personal care, and the ability to assess a situation and respond quickly.

Required qualifications for this position include:

Education:

Minimum Required: At least two years post-secondary education or successful completion of the Praxis exam.

Experience:

Minimum Required: Experience working with children aged birth to 6 preferred but not required.

Preferred: Experience working with children that have special needs.
