Position DescriptionThis position is responsible for post award administration, compliance and fiscal management of grants and contracts awarded from federal, state, and local government and private funding agencies. Applies specialized knowledge and interprets rules, regulations procedures and policies from funding agencies and combines those with university policies. Must have excellent customer service skills as well as independent judgement and discretion in the management of grants and contracts working with project director, funding agency personnel and University and faculty personnel. Examples of duties include reviewing, interpreting funding documents and campus policies and procedures; researching, interpreting and applying appropriate funding agency regulations and federal regulations as required by each award; maintaining contact with funding agencies regarding fiscal and reporting requirements; informing and working with project personnel to ensure regulatory compliance, including the fiscal management of grants/contracts; reviewing, analyzing and preparing reports; maintain documentation for audits; review and approve disbursements to ensure conformity with funding agency and University policies and regulations.
