Job Description

The Sudbury Public School District is seeking a qualified individual to work as a Special Education Teacher in the Extended School Year Program.

Extended School Year (ESY) Program is a 4 or 7 week Special Education program for students on IEPs to stem substantial regression. This program supports students Pre-K to 7th Grade.

ESY Dates: July 10th - August 18th

ESY Partners Program Dates: July 10th - August 18th

ESY Hours: 8:30AM - 11:30PM, Monday-Friday

ESY Partners Program Hours: 8:30AM - 2:30PM Monday-Thursday; 8:30AM - 11:30AM Friday

ESY LEAP Program Hours: 8:30AM - 2:30PM Monday-Thursday; 8:30AM - 11:30AM Friday

ESY: Peter Noyes Elementary School

ESY Middle School: Curtis Middle School

General Terms:

· All staff are required to work all days and hours of the specific program or position.

· All staff must attend an orientation meeting to be scheduled in June.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

· Certification in special education

· Experience teaching students with disabilities in a preschool setting

Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
