Supports culture development and management efforts. The Core Faculty position include teaching courses in areas of expertise, student advising and mentoring, thesis or capstone project supervision, active committee work (e.g., faculty welfare committees, diversity committee), and participation in curriculum development and program advocacy. In addition, faculty engage in student learning assessment activities, as well as participate in professional development activities. Full time faculty will build up their research responsibilities to the expected level which is to chair 6 dissertations and be a member of 6 additional dissertation committees.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eu003cemu003eScholarship/Research:u003c/emu003eu003cbr /u003eu003c/strongu003eFaculty members are expected to engage in scholarship activities, which may include submissions to peer-review journals or professional and/or lay readership publications; present at academic and professional conferences; and develop and deliver professional workshops and training programs for professionals.u0026nbsp; Active engagement in ongoing research projects and other scholarly pursuits is encouraged.u0026nbsp; Scholarship is broadly defined and consistent with our practitioner model and socially responsible practice focus.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eu003cemu003eService:u003c/emu003eu003cbr /u003eu003c/strongu003eFaculty members are expected to serve on committees at the campus, department, and professional level.
