Position Description

The Department of Political Science at the University of Louisville is seeking applicants for Assistant Professor, tenure track. Candidates will have active research expertise on international relations, military security, especially nuclear proliferation, and a regional focus on South Asia. 

The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses related to the position's focus, as well as one introductory-level course in international relations.

Teaching experience is a plus, and candidates should have demonstrated research potential. Candidates at the advanced Assistant Professor rank will be considered.

A PhD in a related field is required.
