Position Description:

This position will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the activities of the Health Equity Innovation Challenge and Industry Engagement Program. This job involves managing multiple complex projects aligned with a national call for innovations to solve specific problem statements connected to Health Equity. This will include work directly with early stage entrepreneurs, managing engagement of several community and industry partners, project management of industry problem statements, coordinating with partners to issue a national call for innovations, managing industry and community outreach schedules within the Health Equity Innovation Hub, and supporting efforts to select, pilot, and evaluate the innovations. This role involves significant communication skills, relevant subject matter expertise, and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute action plans for the initiative.
• Maintain organized, timely documentation of activities across the initiative.
• Coordinating multiple schedules and meetings.
• Ensure tasks are accomplished on time and on budget.
• Communicate with various stakeholders at different levels and in different sectors about progress, opportunities, and emerging issues.
• Initiate new partnerships and collaborations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Familiarity with entrepreneurial stakeholders in Louisville and Kentucky
• Experience as a business or nonprofit founder or co-founder
• Event planning experience
