Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Administrator to join the University’s Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business Professional Services team. As part of the Faculty’s Quality team responsible for leading, supporting and monitoring a range of key Quality Assurance (QA) processes including support for the review and creation of the academic programme portfolio, you will liaise with academics and external contacts to provide support and guidance. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to work in an ever-changing busy environment. You will deal with queries from academic staff and be flexible to problem solve and seek process improvements as you work. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to support a wide range of committees and meetings including preparation and minute taking. This is a permanent, part-time position working 26 hours per week. Preferably 6.5 hours per day, worked over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) but must work Fridays in the office. The role is based on the main University of Plymouth campus and we can offer flexible working arrangements to enable an enhanced work/life balance.In addition, we offer continued development within the role and across the Faculty to support you and the whole professional service team to deliver excellence and continuous improvement across our service. The Faculty Professional Services team is responsible for providing a customer-focused, high quality academic administration to students, academic staff and external partners within a culture that combines collegiality and a dedication to excellence.
