King University, a private, comprehensive doctoral degree granting university, founded in the Presbyterian tradition, is inviting applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the School of Nursing for the Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have an MSN and a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification and be licensed as an APRN in the state of Tennessee.

Preferred Qualifications:

DNP degree and a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, and be licensed as an APRN in the state of Tennessee. Those who meet the above criteria with teaching experience and interest are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

This adjunct position will require faculty presence one day each week on King University’s Knoxville Hardin Valley Campus. The Family Nurse Practitioner program is offered in the HyFlex format, which allows students to participate in class on campus, synchronously online, or asynchronously online. The King University nursing program is fully approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
