Job Description

This is a part time position that will continue through the end of the school year. A successful candidate should have a strong background in education, preferably elementary experiences working with small groups in core content areas of reading and math. This would be ideal for a certified retired teacher or a certified teacher looking to gradually get back into a school setting. This would also be ideal for retired instructional support who have had experience and training in literacy and/or math.

The support will be in the grade span of 2-5 and the max hours per week are 16. Applicants might also consider being added to our school sub list and could sub half days if desired.

This position is part time and has no benefits.

Job Qualification

Minimum Experience/Requirements:

Applicants should have experience working in a school setting.

An active teaching license is not required. Candidate should have an understanding of instructional strategies and developmental needs of students. Experience with small group and whole group activities is preferred.
