The

College of Business (COB)

invites applications for a

Graduate Program Manager

to join their team. This position serves as the first point of contact for perspective students of the COB Graduate Programs. The College of Business offers the only MBA program in Montana, one of the first Masters of Science in Business Analytics programs in the region and the only AACSB accredited Masters of Accountancy in the state. The Graduate Program Manager also serves as the administrative support for the COB Graduate Programs.

Responsibilities include:

Management of all graduate program inquiry and application processes.

Management of recruitment materials and website.

Knowledge of all graduate program and certificate curriculum requirements.

Knowledge of Banner Student Information System.

Individualized transcript evaluations in accordance with each program’s application process.

Work with the individual program admissions committees to ensure accuracy of admissions.

Participate in the strategic planning of the admissions practices and policies of each program.

Management of the admissions CRM (Slate) and as well as the College of Business CRM (HubSpot).

Manage graduate program Procard procedures in accordance to university policy.

Manage all graduate program travel, to include budgeting and arrangements.

Manage all Graduate Program events, in collaboration with the COB Event Planner.

Manage COB Graduate Programs alumni network.

Participate in the overall strategical planning/implementation of each graduate program, aligning with the mission of the College of Business.

Management of the of College of Business Scholarship application and award process working with UM Foundation, Financial Aid and the college’s scholarship committee.

Supervise the College of Business Graduate Assistants.

Manage Graduate Assistant application process in accordance with annual budget, to include marketing and recruitment.

Organize and facilitate Graduate Assistant onboarding and orientation.

Manage Graduate Assistant performance expectations.

Supervise the graduate Zoom Room Technicians.

Recruitment and hiring of student workers.

Orientation and training of student workers

Serve as the Graduate Academic Advisor back-up when needed.

Required Skills

Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with students, staff, faculty and administration.

Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening and feedback skills.

Knowledge in the use of computer software programs, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

Ability to listen and demonstrate patience in determining student situations and how best to effectively support and provide critical, accurate, consistent and timely information.

Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals and create and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to work independently while providing attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Minimum Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree or two (2) year of experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree

Managerial work experience
