Profile

Position Summary

The Corporate Trainer will create and facilitate training programs enterprise-wide to help employees develop and enhance their skills and knowledge. This position will work closely with leadership to create and implement blended training solutions and supplemental materials with branded elements while ensuring compliance pursuant to regulatory training requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Partner with senior and departmental leadership on development of new training initiatives and content designed to support critical company and business objectives

Develop a comprehensive and robust training curriculum that ensures the company is compliant with all training regulatory requirements

Implement mortgage content through instructor-led classes, virtual education, and other blended learning formats

Facilitate classroom and virtual instruction and develop a task-based mentor program for on-the-job training, for new hires

Coordinate and assist with department specific training

Provide continuing education opportunities for employees, inclusive of ongoing compliance, leadership, professional, and personal development

Develop training materials, student and facilitator guides based on identified learning needs

Develop and maintain pre and post-training testing functions to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives

Lead research initiatives on new training projects, courses, and developing content

Manage training schedule, attendance, and updates to curriculum

Maintain knowledge by researching and analyzing the business, systems, process, and regulatory changes to ensure training proficiency

Ensure training data is accurate and up-to-date and properly cataloged in relevant database for reporting and analytical purposes

Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training

Maintain communication channels with new hires and their managers regarding new hire performance

Provide direction, guidance, and expertise regarding training requirements and learning and development modules

Ensures training curriculums are executed and works to ensure any deviations are well documented and approved

Other assigned duties, including, but not limited to, various training, project management, and administrative tasks, as needed

Incumbent will be responsible for meeting RoundPoint’s commitment to compliance

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven training experience. Mortgage industry experience is highly preferred

Willingness and ability to quickly learn business policies and procedures

Demonstrated track record training, coaching, developing professionals

Ability to train with energy, enthusiasm, and dedication

Capable of utilizing a multitude of delivery techniques and activities, to engage adult learners while relating critical concepts

Ability to research design and conduct effective training for adult learners within a classroom setting and in distance learning environments

Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of training and development techniques, tools and processes

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint)

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment where priorities change quickly

Ability to work with management to establish training goals and objectives through needs assessment while also functioning as a team player

Desired:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or related discipline

Proficient in e-learning software
