Description

The University of Montana Western Division of Education welcomes applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education specializing in Science, Math, and/or Technology in Early Childhood Education. Primary responsibilities will include teaching experientially based courses related to science, math, and/or technology in ECE classrooms (P-3) in undergraduate programs. Courses will be taught in both online and face-to-face formats. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain professionalism, scholarly productivity, professional service, advising, and committee work.

Requirements

The successful candidate will:

Hold a doctorate in Early Childhood Education or a related field (ABD will be considered);

Have demonstrated success teaching face-to-face and online courses at the post-secondary level;

Have expertise related specifically to science/math/technology in Early Childhood Education;

have demonstrated the ability to work well as a member of a team.

Preferred

The successful candidate may:

Have taught for three or more years in an early childhood (P-3) setting;

Have experience with accreditation/CAEP.
