General Description of Position:

Provide administrative assistance and professional-level support to the Office of the Chancellor and campus vice chancellors.

Major Responsibilities:

Provide primary administrative support for the Chancellor and supplementary administrative support to other cabinet members.

Provides hospitality to Chancellor and Resource Development Office Suites.

Coordinate and maintain effective office procedures and efficient workflows.

Maintains Chancellor and Cabinet files and records.

Assists in data collection and organization for the Chancellor’s Office.

Supports communications from the Office of the Chancellor: compiling, completing, and routing.

Follows policies and procedures of the College and campus.

Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with superiors, co-workers, subordinates, students, government and external agency/organization personnel, friends of the College and the general public.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in related field preferred.

One years of experience in an administrative assistant or executive secretarial position.

Skills and proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite

Commitment to continuous upgrading and enhancement of skills to keep pace with changing demands of workplace and position.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
