Counselor Jobs description
Counselor positions are generally available at for-profit universities and professional schools which offer students counseling and guidance regarding the courses they should take. Typical duties include cold calling available contacts, setting up appointments, elaborating on the various courses available, educating students and/or parents on the merits of different programs, suggesting appropriate courses to students, communicating the image of the institution to the general public effectively, creating brand value for the school, and meeting and exceeding the revenue targets or student recruitment targets.Applicants for such positions will typically have a bachelor\'s degree and prior experience selling in an educational environment. A professional demeanor and pleasant personality are essential.
