School Principal Jobs description
The principal of a school has a wide variety of important responsibilities: providing direction and leadership in all school activities; recruiting and retaining teachers; directing and managing the various instructional programs at the school; ensuring compliance with various rules and regulations; allocating resources; staying abreast of the latest trends in educational institution management; managing and upgrading the school infrastructure and facilities as the circumstances may demand; tactically handling disciplinary matters; and ensuring quality education for the students. In private school settings, a principal may also be referred to as a headmaster.The applicant for a principal job opening should have a master's degree in educational administration and 3-5 years or more of teaching experience. The position requires strong public relations skills and the ability to attract the most talented and dedicated teachers in the region.
