We are looking for a post-doctoral associate to develop a novel nanopore-based chemical releasing platform. The position is in Prof. Chuanhua Duanâ€™s Group at BU Mechanical Engineering Department. General information about the group is available at www.bu.edu/neft
Design and Fabricate micro/nanofluidic devices in the cleanroom.
â€¯Design and conduct experiments.
â€¯Collect, summarize, and analyze the data.
Prepare biological samples in a cell culture lab.
Guide PhD student working in the same project.
Present results at conferences and publish manuscripts.
â€¯Assist the PI in preparing proposals.

PhD degree in Engineering, Physics or a related field.
Strong experimental background in nanofluidics and nanofabrication/characterization.
Experience in surface chemistry/functionalization and bio-conjugation.
Some experience with basic cell culturing techniques desirable.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
