The Applications Analyst / Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining system integrations and components primarily in Salesforce, including but not limited to; application to application integrations, services, internal and external API, file transfer, and EDI and SQL queries. The position is responsible for participating in requirements analysis and decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and the documentation of same for the application-application integrations. This position is instrumental in supporting accelerated growth at Unity College through maintenance, integrity, and troubleshooting existing integrations and providing technical support to internal and external constituents for new application development efforts, primarily Salesforce. This role will also back up support for other applications at the College. The Applications Analyst/Developer works within the Information Technology (IT) unit and partners with colleagues college wide to realize the full value of Salesforce.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree; bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred plus:
- 2 to 5 years experience with application development; at least 1 year Salesforce experience required.
The following skills are preferred but not required: Salesforce administration; Salesforce Apex; VB.NET; ASP: IIS; SSO - SAML
Strong client service and project management skills; must have the ability to communicate with both business and technical individuals effectively; ability to rapidly learn technical and business concepts; ability to provide technical input and guidance to team members; ability to present technical concepts to technical and business audiences; commitment to high quality work and timely deliverables; proficient written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail a must and be team oriented; ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines; a personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college.
