Howard Community College seeks experienced, innovative, and dynamic college instructors to teach developmental reading and writing with a demonstrated commitment to our community college mission. The position requires a Master's degree in Reading or a related field; community-college level teaching experience with a focus on least prepared (developmental) and diverse learners; strong knowledge of instructional technology to enhance learning; demonstrated commitment to first-year student success; and a team-oriented willingness to participate in program development and innovations. Ideal candidates are experienced with student learning communities, interested in academic leadership opportunities and committed to the community college philosophy and mission in serving a diverse student population. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
