Friends University is seeking to fill the Grants & Advancement Events Coordinator position in Wichita Kansas. This position will research and track grant-giving and corporate giving agencies and deadlines via funding opportunity databases, interact with grant-funded constituencies’ on-campus to create grant and corporate sponsorship proposals, and coordinate Advancement donor events and assist Alumni Director with alumni events. Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Skills & Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Ability to communicate effectively with Academic Dean, Division Vice Presidents, Foundation staff and directors, and corporate sponsors. Listen and develop information into grant proposals and collaborate with faculty in various disciplines.
