\u003cli\u003eParticipates in a team approach to planning and implementing program activities. Collaborates with Family Support Workers, Lead Teacher, Program Aide, site partners, and site supervisor for the betterment of the classroom and families.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssumes responsibility for classroom in lead teacher\u0026rsquo;s absence.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipates in child care and classroom-related activities during parent meetings/workshops.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipates in ongoing CLASS implementation and monitoring.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eResponsible for the implementation of the program\u0026rsquo;s Planned Language Approach, which is specifically designed to support dual language learners.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eGuide and facilitate activities of the children. Ensures appropriate child guidance and discipline and proper ratios are maintained at all times.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAttend all mandated trainings. Set and achieve professional development goals.\u0026nbsp; Share resources with\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; other staff members as appropriate.\u0026nbsp; All professional development to be tracked in Gateways.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAid in the maintenance of ongoing, high quality documentation of school readiness skills. Maintain Interrater Reliability through Teaching Strategies Gold.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipates in the planning and implementation of education home visits and parent teacher conferences as needed.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eHelp ensure accurate teacher and child files as required by licensing agents, Early Childhood requirements and Metropolitan Family Services.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsure all transportation safety procedures are followed including utilization of the bus attendance log if applicable.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsure accurate completion CACFP documents in conjunction with the teaching staff.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eDevelops and maintains effective supportive relationships with parents, children an staff.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipates in promoting the development of children by contributing to weekly lesson planning using \u003cem\u003eCreative Curriculum\u003c/em\u003e including individualization for all children, including: monitoring and facilitating accommodations listed in IEPs and IFSPs.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProvides a supportive, caring and safe environment for children.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eUse the playground as an extension of the classroom; assures that the playground is safe.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProvides active supervision to ensure the safety of children while in the classroom, during transitions, at time of transportation, and while on the playground. Ensures that no child shall be left alone or unsupervised.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsures the usage of agency technology equipment and time are utilized for agency business.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsures compliance with the agency\u0026rsquo;s code of conduct.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsures agency\u0026rsquo;s fiscal integrity by adhering to purchase approval requirements and procedures.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssists in the development of the agency\u0026rsquo;s annual program self-assessment.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsures all content area data is accurately reflected in the agency\u0026rsquo;s Program Information Report within set time frames.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipate in program recruitment efforts to maintain full enrollment.\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cli\u003eAssociate\u0026rsquo;s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited college or university or Bachelors or AA in field outside of ECE with a minimum 60 college credit hours. of which 15 must be in early childhood education or child development and/or with a Gateways Level 4 credential.\u003c/li\u003e
