LOMA, an international research and education association for the insurance, retirement, and financial services industry, serves the training and development needs of its 1,200 member companies with the design and delivery of high-quality self-study learning materials in nine languages. More than 40,000 individuals across the world enroll for our courses and programs as a part of their professional development.
Position Summary:
The Corporate Education Advisor will identify and develop new relationships and grow existing business within LOMA’s members in the United States. This position will be involved in all phases of developing, managing, and evaluating the effectiveness of:
Business development, project plans, and strategy for key business verticals
Targeted marketing initiatives
Executive, mid-management, and student presentations promoting LL Global programs and resources as solutions to today’s business challenges
Job Duties:
Responsible for direct sales to LOMA prospective students and able to pursue new student referrals through a variety of methods including outbound calls; inbound calls; email; marketing communications; delivering presentations (i.e. road shows, webinars, conference call, etc.); and Social Media, in collaboration with business development and marketing staff.
Provide
account management to assigned member companies as the key Member Solutions representative (or co-account representative for large domestic insurance carriers). Identify and develop new relationships, and grow existing business. Deliver product demonstrations and presentations in order to grow business and uncover new opportunities.
Work to increase brand awareness through database analysis skills and develop campaigns to increase sales through email, conference calls, WebEx, and leveraging social media platforms.
Work with member solutions team and client education representatives, to develop client specific leader & student outreach strategies, tactics and campaigns
Effective
presentation skills both in development and execution.
Achieve targets related to outreach and related sales activities, direct sales and company sales.
Represent LOMA/LL Global at industry conferences, committee meetings, and LOMA Society events
Respond to requests from customers for information and maintain customer database on all calls/touches.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience.
3 of work experience in a business to business sales position or sales support role that includes direct sales responsibility and experience with Salesforce and automation tools.
Proven knowledge and experience in the life and retirement space
Experience in the insurance & retirement spaces
Financial Services industry experience
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to align the LOMA educational programs to fit customer requirements
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely while adapting communications content to level of audience
Ability to listen actively and influence decision-makers
Persistence and use of good judgment in overcoming obstacles and solving problems.
Must have a high degree of initiative and be assertive, goal oriented, resourceful, persistent, creative
Ability to build relationships over the telephone
Excellent time management skills, organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
A commitment to providing quality customer service to internal and external customers.
Solid computer skills including knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Presentation skills
Discipline to keep accurate and up-to-date records regarding customer contact.
Live within a commutable distance to the Atlanta, GA office or Windsor, CT offices
Ability to work remotely if conditions dictate
Travel within the United States and Canada: 10-25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce.com.
Experience in the insurance & retirement spaces
Financial Services industry experience
