LNA LAB COURSE INSTRUCTOR

Burlington Technical Center’s Adult and Continuing Education program is looking for a Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) to teach the in-person lab portion of our Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) evening courses this Winter/Spring 2021, with the potential for ongoing employment. Curriculum, materials and well equipped lab space will be provided. The ideal candidate will come with availability to teach on at least 2 evenings per week. Additional availability during potential evening or day time instructional scheduling would be helpful but nor required. Join our growing program to share your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of LNA’s in a field that desperately needs qualified and licensed care givers.
Instructor requirements (1) hold a Vermont unencumbered license as a practical or registered
nurse; (2) have at least two years’ experience as a practical or registered nurse ; and (3) have
at least one year of clinical or instructional experience related to area(s) of instruction.
Preferred qualifications: 5 years experience as a licensed practitioner; Teaching and/or
supervisory experience; Experience with online course instruction as a student or instructor.
Competitive pay for instructional hours and course preparation. Employment is based on course enrollment requirements.
