Duties will include (but not limited to); employee relations, performance management, facilitation/stewardship of HR initiatives, organizational and leadership assessment and development, recruitment and employment, compensation management (job description and analysis), organizational development and training, and legal compliance. The role may lead HR projects across a broader segment of the business in alignment with goals and accountabilities. This is a full service HR Business Partnership/Generalist type of role. The successful person will work closely with like HR roles in providing calibrated and aligned services.General ResponsibilitiesExecutes key HR processes linked to business outcomes.Supports business initiatives through effective execution of HR programs and processes.Supports the business and employees to resolve employee relations issues.Partners with the management team to ensure fair and consistent enforcement of policies and practices. Ensures legal compliance and understanding of policies and processes.Investigates employee work place situations including employee performance issues and/or claims of misconduct.Implements corporate programs and practices within the organization. Oversees pay practices to ensure they are market competitive, internally equitable and tied to Online Learning Services’ business objectives.Manages projects and/or participates as a project member on Initiatives as assigned.May support effective recruitment programs for select positions to identify and attract highly qualified, talented individuals.Participates in talent review processes.Assists company managers in developing skills and processes to manage human resources more effectively through modeling, coaching, instruction and training.Coordinates and delivers training programs to improve the skills and efficiency of talent within the organization.Supports the oversight of core skill development training programs.Inspects, develops if necessary and ensures consistent programs such as orientation, training, roll-outs, etc., to maintain consistency throughout the organization.Collects and synthesizes employee feedback and information to ensure continuous improvement.','Pearson is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and a member of E-Verify.
