Epileptologist to join level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Center (
), Department of Neurology with appointment as Assistant Professor to Associate Professor rank, depending upon qualifications and experience. Must be BE/BC in Neurology and/or Clinical Neurophysiology and/or Epilepsy. Experience or interest in surgical monitoring is strongly desired. Primary duties include routine
interpretation, intraoperative monitoring, evaluation and management of epilepsy patients, participation in epilepsy surgery evaluations, and teaching residents and fellows. The individual will join our team of epileptologists and nurse practitioners in the only comprehensive epilepsy program in the state with a large draw area from multiple states in the intermountain west. The program includes a six-bed video-
unit, daily intraoperative monitoring cases, and excellent neuroradiology and neuropsychology support. Opportunities are available to join or develop clinical and basic research efforts in epilepsy, which may include collaboration with investigators from other Departments at the University of Utah.
