Our decades of on-the-ground experience help us create greater impact, practical recommendations, and lasting partnerships.Are you the next member of our team? Your Background & SkillsBachelor’s degree in higher education, education, business, or closely related field;Master’s degree preferred;Minimum of five to seven years of experience working in and/or managing international education programs demonstrating progressive experience, with a focus on institutional capacity building, academic management, and professional training/teaching programs;Demonstrated experience in international English language program management;Availability to travel to Iraq as needed;Experience creating, managing and monitoring program budgets;Demonstrated ability to plan strategically and creatively to meet specified objectives with strong ability to anticipate challenges and generate solutions;Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills;Excellent writing and editing skills;Experience with U.S and/or international accreditation models;Proven experience in facilitating e-learning and remote learning training;Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize;Able to work independently and as a team member with consistent ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and be flexible;Demonstrated understanding of or professional work experience in Iraq;Arabic or Kurdish language preferred Your Daily TasksManage higher education reform projects including supporting relationships and outreach with academic institutions and industry/corporate partnersProvide technical assistance in developing materials and/or providing training on higher education, education and/or career preparation and workforce development training;Research and/or write summaries of project activities and results including quarterly and other program reports for funding agenciesProvide support to monitoring and evaluation data collection and reportingSupport senior staff in all aspects of program implementation to ensure quality and impact of programmingCoordinate consultant and sub award agreements, logistics, and paymentsTrack program expenditures and develop and monitor program budgets;Track and analyze work plan activity progress toward project objectives and/or track and analyze project indicator data;Represent IREX and Education Practice interests both within and outside of IREX;Assist with business development efforts as assigned;Assist in monitoring and evaluation product design and development. IREX will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments of 2008. Successful candidates are subject to background screeningsThis position is eligible for Telework. This position is not ineligible for Immigration Sponsorship NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE EOE – Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.All individuals, regardless of personal characteristics, are encouraged to apply.
