FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Brooklyn College of the City University of New York (CUNY) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in the Department of Psychology with a starting date in August 2019.
The successful candidate is expected to:
Participate in public and professional activities in Psychology field.
Provide student guidance and mentorship in Psychology.
Teach undergraduate and masters courses.
Participate in college and department committees, curriculum development, and other assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses is required.
Although research productivity is not a requirement of the position, a commitment to an ongoing scholarly orientation is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Psychology or closely-related discipline from an accredited institution.
A significant record of relevant applied experience, is strongly preferred.
Evidence of teaching excellence.
COMPENSATION
Salary commensurate with experience and credentials. All appointments are subject to financial availability.
