Science Teacher Jobs description
A science teacher makes use of interactive discussions and active participation of students to help them apply and understand the universal concepts in science. Science teachers influence and help students solve problems and understand various theories and facts already established by great scientists. They use a variety of science equipments such as balances, microscopes, measuring devices, and chemicals, found in most laboratories. Experiments are performed to make concepts clearer. A science teacher establishes learning objectives; prepares assignments, scientific lessons, and instructional materials; administers solutions testing; allocates marks; and evaluates student's progress.A science teacher should have a degree in science if teaching the primary section, and a post-graduate degree in science if instructing higher grades. A diploma in education is also required by some schools.
