English as a Second Language ESL Noncredit Adjunct Faculty

Profile

Howard Community College maintains a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty positions in Continuing Education in the area of English as a Second Language (ESL/ESOL).
The Director of the English Language Center will access this pool when an opening arises. Your application will remain active for two years. After this time, you will need to apply again with current, updated information if you are still interested in remaining a part of the pool.
The English Language Center runs more than 60 unique courses, including Comprehensives, Conversation, Listening & Speaking, Writing, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Reading, Literacy, TOEFL and Business English, from Pre-beginning to Advanced II levels.
Courses are offered in Fall, Winter (January), Spring, Summer I and Summer II sessions. The current course schedule is located here: ****Requirements:
BA/BS in TESOL, linguistics, education, foreign language, English or related field with ESL teaching experience. Certificates from an acknowledged ESL training program also considered (BA/BS required).
Masters degree or higher in TESOL, linguistics or related field.
