The Director of Academic Scheduling is a member of the VPAA staff responsible for establishing a class scheduling process that meets the needs of students to complete a degree or certificate in a timely manner; producing an annual schedule that supports enrollment and program targets and efficient use of facilities and instructional resources at all locations and online; supporting a prescribed laddering of courses toward degree completion; and building positive relationships with faculty, staff, and students. Manages the Ad Astra system for academic scheduling as well as Platinum Analytics. Focuses on data collection and analysis, data-sharing, and training for academic schedule building and related processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience with progressing levels of responsibility, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
Ability to build and maintain partnerships and effective teams.
Performs all duties while considering the impact of any actions on the college’s sustainability initiatives in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity.
